Episode 2:
Joseline – where do we start?? Well first, unlike the other whispers around the web we actually think Joseline IS a woman. With her physic, she should just tone it down with the wigs, crazy makeup and stripper clothes. Plus, why would someone with the “status” of Stevie J associate himself *sexually* with someone whose sexuality is a big question? Unless…..........anyhoo!
Our respect for Joseline increase after reading an interview she did. Big shout out to her!!
When Karlie went to the studio and walked in without saying hello..Joseline checked her real quick and we loved it! Joseline knows herself and won’t let anyone run over her..Makes for great TV!
Why did Stevie J try to pretend that Joseline wasn’t pregnant by him…telling her to take the test elsewhere. Look, if either of us had to do a pregnancy test, best believe the last person to know would be our Managers.
Love when she confronted Karlie in the gym and we loved her response to Mimi’s attempt to become her boss. Joseline seems to be a hell raiser and obviously has Stevie J wrapped around her little finger. Hate her or love her, she makes LHHATL very interesting and we can see her getting a spin off show…now her *career* is a completely different story…
Erica – it was really touching and awkward at the same time to watch her conversation with her mother. Again, we love Erica’s courage to put every aspect of her life out on the table for the world to see.
We actually understood her need to have Scrappy live elsewhere especially with their type of relationship. Good for her!
Rasheeda – We finally got to meet her. We love her hood attitude and her hustle but her husband… he acts a bit fruity to us. First, being the role of manager/record label is a terrible idea for any couple. Second, what’s with her *extremely scripted* music video in the car...Guess she’s plans to use the show as a platform for her album. Lastly, what was with the attitude at the video shoot? Her husband gets on her about being 2 hours late and she attacks him with comments about being a good mother. Who said she was a bad one? Perfect example of why she should find her own help outside of her home. We like Rasheeda though and we looking forward to learning more about her personal life….if we are subject to anymore of her music, we’ll have to resort to FF-ing thru her segments.
KMichelle – MIA this episode :)
Karlie – Karlie made us laugh at her poor attempt to get Mimi fire Joseline as Stevie J’s artist. Her repeating the events of the club incident were transparent and was followed up by “I want to work with Stevie J”. Kool that Mimi caught it! Lol
She didn’t defend herself very well when Joseline came to her gym. Not saying that she should have assaulted her but a light shove or a mush in the face may have done sent the right message…
Mimi – Mimi, Mimi, Mimi… so embarrassed for her in every scene. Money is a powerful thing but your dignity and reputation should be more important. Good for her for asking for 20% of his earnings…we guess as a way to balance the pain of dealing with a cheating man… will he agree to it? We don’t see that happening.
Momma D – MIA in this episode… :(
Stevie J – this man really thinks he’s some kind of Don, some kind of pimp! Him and his nose could kick rocks. We just don’t get it. Money will make *certain* women act really stupid and crazy. For the sake of TV could Mimi at least pretend to be immune to his bullshit?? Makes us sick…
Wow wow wow!! Just when we thought that LHHATL couldn’t get any better, episode 2 blows the season premiere out of the water!!!
In the case of Joseline’s pregnancy, Trinity *below* says it best. Reality TV should not be THAT REAL. Nobody wants the issue of abortion front and center in their living room especially for a reason like “throwing up on video sets and dance rehearsals”. We will have to wait and see – if it does happen, we smell another boycott petition coming…
