Well, well, well…how the tables have turned around!
Our initial reaction to this news was shock! The last thing we expected to happen was a domestic violence incident between the *well-known* Johnsons!
Even though Evelyn said *in a sense* on BBW that she would be ok if Chad cheated, we think that she still expected him to at least wait until after Christmas.
Geez! Chad! Really?
So yea, we do not condone physical violence and we certainly do not like domestic violence…but at the same time, we are finding it super hard to feel sympathy for Evelyn. The same person that bullied or taunted every girl on BBW show…the same person that said her BF for over 10 years would get “stung” every time she saw her…and of course the same person that said police should never get involved in a physical disagreement  ..."take your slap and move on” ...
right Ev-E-Lyn?
Although, What a scary incident to go through! The only inch of feeling we give her is that fact that she wanted to prove so bad that she can be a *real* housewife and that she could make a relationship work with a man that seemed to be untamable. If she really was looking for love and was not in gold-digging mode, then we feel a little bad for her.
In the meanwhile, Chad was dropped from the Miami Dolphins, their reality show was pulled by VH1 and Eric Williams is going EEEEEN on Twitter!!!! Omg! Buddy could not wait for something to happen to the Johnsons to start talking ish!!
Funny or Unnecessary? We are still deciding…
Evelyn…run!!! Run into the arms of the *former* BF that tried to look out for you from jump....Sad!

Update:
Here are some of Eric's tweets... he has every right to hit her back where it hurts...may just be a bit too soon..dang!
Also, The poll below asked if he was wrong in his actions.

Update:
8/13/12 :
* TMZ releases the 9-1-1 tape. Love how the neighbor asks for discretion in the matter. And it was so airy hearing Evelyn’s voice in the background.

8/14/12 :
* Evelyn presses charges…shit just got real!
* Evelyn makes a statment to TMZ:
"It is with great sadness and much trepidation that I release this statement addressing the domestic violence incident that happened this past Saturday, I am deeply disappointed that Chad has failed to take responsibility for his actions and made false accusations against me, it is my sincere hope that he seeks the help he needs to overcome his troubles. Domestic violence is not okay and hopefully my taking a stand will help encourage other women to break their silence as well. I’m grateful to my family, friends and fans for the outpouring of support during this difficult time."
...YEA, OK EV-E-LYN!
8/15/12:
*Evelyn files for divorce! So much for the Kim-K jokes...

Big Shout Out to Tami and her apology on Wendy Williams show yesterday (5/29)!
Tami came to the show to interview with Wendy Williams and took the opportunity to explain and apologize for her behavior on the recent episodes of Basketball Wives. It was very genuine and we are happy to say that we love Tami again!!! Takes a big person to say what she did and we are proud of her for stepping up. She was really hurt by the whole thing and felt devastated that she disappointed her girls.
Some blogs are calling her bluff, but we loved it!
Go Tami! We wish her all the best!!

PS) Check out our girl on the cover of EGL Magazine!! Amazing!!

Speechless! That’s how we reacted to the torment that Kesha endured in the last episode of Basketball wives! The scene between her and Tami was very difficult to watch, especially for anyone who’s been through any situation like that, where they felt bullied and helpless. We are not only watching grown *ass* women, we are watching mothers, entrepreneurs and supposedly respected role models. As much as we tried to understand where Tami was coming from we could not understand her justification to hijack Kesha’s purse, rampage through her back and go through her phone?
The worst part of it all was to see Evelyn and Shaunie pretend to care! Evelyn crying?? Puuuh-lease!!!
THEN to see Susie act fake by wanted to help Kesha get her purse back??
Extremely difficult to watch!
Kesha did exactly what she was suppose to do… tell the authorities to try to get her property back and leave hell island! Just because you know where your property is doesn’t make taking it right, not does it mean that it is not a crime to take someone’s property.
We use to respect Tami a lot, but to act like that over a disagreement then pretend that you took Kesha’s purse to “save” it from being left at the restaurant was disgraceful.
Since the airing of the worst Basketball Wives episode in history! Tami has since made a public
apology to Kesha and to her family and “REAL” friends! At the same time, in a positive spin, Kesha is taking her experience to shed light on the issues and effects of bullying! Good for you Kesha and for the record, we are behind this cause 1001%!This morning we were a bit shocked to find out that Tami has deactivated her Twitter due to constant harassment from angry fans. Really? The bullier can’t take the bulling??
Tanya Young from (episode 1&2) of Basketball Wives LA wrote a nice piece on the show. She points out that she shot Basketball Wives LA for MONTHS *who knew?*  “ including wonderful footage of my involvement with the domestic-violence hotline, an event at my home, a charity event for another cast member, and “normal” dining outings with the women. Yet I was only shown in two episodes”…very interesting:

The
petition is now at 28k signatures and growing, getting over 3,000 in just one week! Sponsors are
pulling their Ads and bloggers are outraged at the show’s portrayal of women of color!
As usual, we will continue to watch curious to see how the season will end ….

We are not going to do a review in the middle of the Basketball Wives season. We did however, want to comment on the new petition created to encourage people to “Boycott the Basketball Wives” including Evelyn’s new show with fiancée Chad.
We are fans of the show, in that it is very entertaining. However it quickly became apparent after the end of season 1 that Shaunie O’neal was exploiting these ladies for her own financial gain.
The new petition came after this season’s "fight" between Evelyn’s assistant & Jennifer, who is a full time member on the show. As much as we have seen in our lives, that scene at the Gulf Stream race track gave us chills, and opened the door to many conversational topics around the web.
As much as we think some people need a slap or two in life, we do not condone anyone putting their hands on another person, especially someone who shows no interesting in fighting back. It was troubling to hear that Jennifer has never been slapped in her life and was *literally* violated by someone she once trusted. Seeing Evelyn jump over the table like rabbit in heat was disgraceful, not to mention that the reason they are all fighting it completely childish!
What these ladies are involved in is BULLYING! Just because you are no longer in school, doesn’t mean that bullying can’t happen. You cannot treat people like that regardless of you think they did to you. You being hurt does not give you a license to physically attack another. Be a grown-up and handle things like adults are expected to handle things.
Keshia also responded to her run in with Tami episode 12:
“Studies have shown that envy and resentment may be motives for bullying.  Research on the self-esteem of bullies has produced equivocal results. While some bullies are arrogant and narcissistic, others can use bullying as a tool to conceal shame or anxiety or to boost self-esteem: by demeaning others, the abuser feels empowered.” Ouch!

The sad part is that we admire Evelyn she seems to be a loyal person and a great business woman but she clearly has a lot of issues. She is way to pretty to have such a bad attitude and high insecurities.
We are happy to see Jennifer taking a stand to this violence, the only way she knows how and we are going to continue to watch to see the Karma that will come to these ladies.
