Big Shout Out to Tami and her apology on Wendy Williams show yesterday (5/29)!
Tami came to the show to interview with Wendy Williams and took the opportunity to explain and apologize for her behavior on the recent episodes of Basketball Wives. It was very genuine and we are happy to say that we love Tami again!!! Takes a big person to say what she did and we are proud of her for stepping up. She was really hurt by the whole thing and felt devastated that she disappointed her girls.
Some blogs are calling her bluff, but we loved it!
Go Tami! We wish her all the best!!

Basketball season is almost over!! Noooo!
Soon we will be back to nights of Call of Duty and L.A. Noire!
No upsets this round, our picks were spot on! Shout out to the Pacers for going the distance when everyone counted them out!
Now that we are in the conference finals, it is even tougher to decipher who the championship contenders will be…
Must say that the West is turning up the *real* heat this year…the Thunders/Spurs series is going to be out of control and we will be glued to the TV.
As hard is this decision was, we are thrilled at a Heat/Thunder show down for the championship!
Good luck to everyone!

Here's our Fluffy Bun hairstyle - for medium length hair!

1. Put your hair in ponytail -as high up as you are comfortable with- and separate your hair in the middle.

2. Loosely twist your hair into the shape of a bun.

Tuck your hair under as you twirl the bun.
Make sure to create alot of air to ensure the fluffiness of your bun.

3. As you finish your twisting and neatening, you will be left with a little bit of hair.
Use this to secure your bun.

4. Secure your untucked hair with a hair pin

5. Style with some KTrini earrings and head out!

Perfect for work or Happy Hour! :)
Enjoy!

Speechless! That’s how we reacted to the torment that Kesha endured in the last episode of Basketball wives! The scene between her and Tami was very difficult to watch, especially for anyone who’s been through any situation like that, where they felt bullied and helpless. We are not only watching grown *ass* women, we are watching mothers, entrepreneurs and supposedly respected role models. As much as we tried to understand where Tami was coming from we could not understand her justification to hijack Kesha’s purse, rampage through her back and go through her phone?
The worst part of it all was to see Evelyn and Shaunie pretend to care! Evelyn crying?? Puuuh-lease!!!
THEN to see Susie act fake by wanted to help Kesha get her purse back??
Extremely difficult to watch!
Kesha did exactly what she was suppose to do… tell the authorities to try to get her property back and leave hell island! Just because you know where your property is doesn’t make taking it right, not does it mean that it is not a crime to take someone’s property.
We use to respect Tami a lot, but to act like that over a disagreement then pretend that you took Kesha’s purse to “save” it from being left at the restaurant was disgraceful.
Since the airing of the worst Basketball Wives episode in history! Tami has since made a public
apology to Kesha and to her family and “REAL” friends! At the same time, in a positive spin, Kesha is taking her experience to shed light on the issues and effects of bullying! Good for you Kesha and for the record, we are behind this cause 1001%!This morning we were a bit shocked to find out that Tami has deactivated her Twitter due to constant harassment from angry fans. Really? The bullier can’t take the bulling??
Tanya Young from (episode 1&2) of Basketball Wives LA wrote a nice piece on the show. She points out that she shot Basketball Wives LA for MONTHS *who knew?*  “ including wonderful footage of my involvement with the domestic-violence hotline, an event at my home, a charity event for another cast member, and “normal” dining outings with the women. Yet I was only shown in two episodes”…very interesting:

The
petition is now at 28k signatures and growing, getting over 3,000 in just one week! Sponsors are
pulling their Ads and bloggers are outraged at the show’s portrayal of women of color!
As usual, we will continue to watch curious to see how the season will end ….

We are not going to do a review in the middle of the Basketball Wives season. We did however, want to comment on the new petition created to encourage people to “Boycott the Basketball Wives” including Evelyn’s new show with fiancée Chad.
We are fans of the show, in that it is very entertaining. However it quickly became apparent after the end of season 1 that Shaunie O’neal was exploiting these ladies for her own financial gain.
The new petition came after this season’s "fight" between Evelyn’s assistant & Jennifer, who is a full time member on the show. As much as we have seen in our lives, that scene at the Gulf Stream race track gave us chills, and opened the door to many conversational topics around the web.
As much as we think some people need a slap or two in life, we do not condone anyone putting their hands on another person, especially someone who shows no interesting in fighting back. It was troubling to hear that Jennifer has never been slapped in her life and was *literally* violated by someone she once trusted. Seeing Evelyn jump over the table like rabbit in heat was disgraceful, not to mention that the reason they are all fighting it completely childish!
What these ladies are involved in is BULLYING! Just because you are no longer in school, doesn’t mean that bullying can’t happen. You cannot treat people like that regardless of you think they did to you. You being hurt does not give you a license to physically attack another. Be a grown-up and handle things like adults are expected to handle things.
Keshia also responded to her run in with Tami episode 12:
“Studies have shown that envy and resentment may be motives for bullying.  Research on the self-esteem of bullies has produced equivocal results. While some bullies are arrogant and narcissistic, others can use bullying as a tool to conceal shame or anxiety or to boost self-esteem: by demeaning others, the abuser feels empowered.” Ouch!

The sad part is that we admire Evelyn she seems to be a loyal person and a great business woman but she clearly has a lot of issues. She is way to pretty to have such a bad attitude and high insecurities.
We are happy to see Jennifer taking a stand to this violence, the only way she knows how and we are going to continue to watch to see the Karma that will come to these ladies.

VH1 – Wednesday’s at 10pm
http://www.vh1.com/shows/couples_therapy/series.jhtml

Normally we wouldn’t start a show review in the middle of a season, but the last episode of Couple’s Therapy had us in shock, so we decided to put in our two cents.
Vienna, Vienna, Vienna…! What a nut?!
To make a long story short, Vienna confessed to one of the therapists on the show that she was still in love with her ex-boyfriend Lee, and she has been for almost 2 years. It is then suggested that to get to the bottom of what she is feeling, they would all need to sit down with Lee. Kasey is hurt when he finds out, Vienna immediately gets defensive and tells Kasey that she no longer wants to be with him. However, when Lee sits down with Dr. Berman, he basically called Vienna ‘crazy’. Lee admitted that he has feelings for Vienna but says that she ruins his life every time she’s in it. Even confessed that she one time showed up at his current girlfriend’s home and told her that she was pregnant with his baby!  When Kasey loses it after finding out that Lee was at the house, Vienna ask that he be escorted from the house..i.e. off the show!
What is wrong with this chick? Why put Kasey thru so much stress when you knew came into the house “loving” Lee? Why waste his time? Vienna better have some good apple pie because she makes men lose their mind!!
She has been in TV for a while and even though we have not followed her closely until now, her past blow ups on TV prove that she is a manipulative coo-coo bird!
Great for TV but…Poor Kasey! :(
Isn’t it interesting that every one of her ex’s have been verbally and (somewhat) physically abusive towards her?
Check this chick out on past shows. Keep in mind that this is waay before Couples' Therapy and see if you too can spot her crazy pattern.
She won the Bachelor, then they broke up on TV..
This is her fight with Kasey on another reality show..
This is her ex, response to Vienna as a whole...
On a lighter note, it was great to see DMX reunite with his mother! They cried and hugged because they had not seen each other in years! All due a misunderstanding!!! Sad but it had to happen.
Big shout out to Chef Chris who stood up for this girlfriend (Angelina) in front of his manager Nicole - who is the creepiest manager on earth! The last thing that Angelina needed to deal with was the fighting back and forth with her boyfriend’s manager/best friend; someone who is constantly in his life.
How many men do you know will stand up for their girlfriends? In a situation that he does not benefit him?
Good for him and great for them! That was really nice to see...
The episode ended with "To Be Continued" and we will definitely be tuned in!!
